MERAKI COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. 1. The promoter of this competition is Meraki Granite Tops. 
   2. The competition will run from 20th October 2023 until 30th November 2023.
   3. By entering this competition, you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions governing the competition. Furthermore, you verify that you are aware of any reason legally prohibiting you from entering this competition and if the competition requires the submission of photographs, artwork, or images of people, or of anything else that requires consent or copyright, that you have the necessary consent and authority to do so. Any entrant who contravenes these rules may be disqualified from the competition. 
   4. The winner of the competition will receive a granite kitchen countertop, including installation only. Should the winner require a makeover worth more than the prize (R10000), they will need to supplement the funds. 
   5. The competition promoters can only modify the rules in a written revision posted on the competition website’s Facebook page or any other official competition communication methods.
   6. This is a digitally run competition. Only entries received online via the promoter’s official landing page form will be accepted.
   7. You will only qualify for the draw if you reside within one of the following areas. Proof of address is required:

   The winner will be required to present a valid South African ID document and proof of residence in order to accept the prize. 

   Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in transmission. Entries reflected on the promoter’s records will be treated as the only source of validation and will be the sole evidence of successful entries.

   To enter the competition: Post a picture of your kitchen in the comment section on our Facebook page that needs a makeover alongside a filled-in form with your telephone number and email address, and you could stand a chance to be our lucky #WINNER in our draw.
   

   • The prize is neither negotiable nor transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
   • The prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions not mentioned hereunder but in accordance with relevant South African legislation. The promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for any unforeseen reason.
   • The random draw will take place on 30th November 2023, and the winners will be contacted via cellphone / email / WhatsApp.
   • The promoters will try to contact the winner for seven days following the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond to messages within that time, or chooses to decline the prize, their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn as soon as possible.
   • By entering this competition, the entrant consents that the promoter may use names and images taken of the winners for publicity purposes without any further remuneration being payable to the winner. The winner may decline to participate in any promotional activity by notifying the promoter in writing. All promotional material will become the sole property of the promoter.
   • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered.
   • You may not enter the competition if you are a director, member, partner, employee, tenant (or employee of a tenant), agent, consultant, or supplier to the promoters or their respective spouses, partners, family members (parents, siblings and children), business partners, or associates.
   • Promoters and their successors, employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents, consultants, directors, and shareholders will not take responsibility for any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, liability for harm, injury or death, demands, expenses, or any costs however arising out of their participation in this competition or their use of the prizes, and/or any person with whom they share that prize.
   • The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this competition.

   • Participants understand and agree that in order to enter the competition, the promoter must collect and use personal information about participants. Once the participants have opted in, this information will be used only for Meraki Granite and will not be sold or given to any third party.
