Meraki Porcelain Basalt Black

About This Colour

Basalt Black is a deep, near-solid black porcelain with a fine, consistent texture inspired by natural basalt. The even colour gives a sleek, modern look, and the subtle grain keeps it from feeling flat. Its scratch and heat resistant surface suits indoor countertops and outdoor kitchens alike.

A Basalt Black porcelain kitchen top contrasts beautifully with white or light timber cabinetry, and it frames stainless-steel appliances neatly. Being UV resistant, it keeps its depth of colour outdoors too, which is handy for a built-in braai counter. Thickness is 12 mm. Every Basalt Black top is shaped and finished at our Nkowankowa factory, then installed by our crew. Sample stands at our branches carry offcuts, and the price is the same everywhere. For a black that works indoors or out, Basalt Black is from R6,100 per m², including VAT and installation*.
